Why am I keeping this blog?
I am, after all, a fiction writer--or, better said, all I've written so far is fiction. Young adult fiction, fantasy. Not really spiritual material, more of escapism.
That changes nothing about who I am, Who saved me, and where my gifts come from. When I write my prayer life tends to slack. I'm keeping this as my own journal, so I can look back at these things without forgetting what really matters in the end. When I had Carpal Tunnel Syndrome very badly and couldn't write, it was in Jesus that I found my refuge.
I want the world to know Who matters most to me.
Look out for series and other things explaining my Catholic faith however I can. No one likes misconceptions--and if I can explain things away, why not? We both learn and I get to evangelize. I hope we can become friends!
